Spring temperatures are a mild average of 65 to 75 degrees. And fall temperature averages start in the 80 degree range and drop to 67 in November. One of the most visited places of vacationers to Flagler Beach is the beach. When vacationing take care to stay protected from the sun. Remember the sun can burn even on cloudy days. Be sure to wear sunscreen with a high SPF. Since the sunscreen may wash off in the water or with perspiration it is wise to reapply it after swimming and after a few hours on the beach. While you want to return home with a great tan, getting sunburned could put a damper on your vacation. Build your tan slowly during your stay. Get a little more sun each day and your color will increase gradually, this is the safest way. When you are at the beach take care to notice if there is a lifeguard on duty and watch that children don’t swim in areas with warning signs.
